Inside The Bradfield Centre Podcast
Things have been a little quiet around here lately, so time for a quick update.
The Bradfield Centre, where I am Managing Director, is dealing will the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic. Our primary concern is for our member companies who have been hit hard. With social distancing in place and the adoption of working from home, superficially, times look challenging for co-working spaces.
However tough times spur innovation, so we are working hard to ensure we remain relevant to the local Tech ecosystem. All of our physical safeguarding measures are in place, and we are reviewing our product range to ensure it is fit for purpose moving forward.
Related to this I was pleased to contribute to a recent Tech Nation article on the impact of COVID-19 on Tech Events. You can read that article here.
To keep a sense of the wonderful community we have built up at The Centre, we have launched a new podcast series called "Inside The Bradfield Centre". The idea is to share the stories of the companies, partners, and people that make The Centre so special, which is especially important whilst many of us are dispursed from the building.
I'd recommend you take a listen. It's quickly becoming a great resource to learn about the cutting edge companies we work with and to get a better feel for Tech in Cambridge and the East of England. It's also been wonderful and validating to hear the guests kind words about The Bradfield Centre, and reassuring that they all can't wait to get back into the building and back to some sense of normality.
You can listen via The Bradfield Centre website or by searching for "Inside The Bradfield Centre" and subscribing via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Soundcloud, Stitcher.
Finally, one a more personal note, I've been working on three semi-stealth projects. Two will make total sense, and slot nicely into my work to support and grow Tech in the region and beyond. The third is a tad off the wall. More on those soon.
